Johnnie Walker Announced Limited Edition Scotch Whiskies On Series “Game of Thrones”

Johnnie Walker and HBO Licensing & Retail announced they are introducing two new Scotch whiskies to the realm in honor of the abiding legacy of HBO’s series “Game of Thrones.”

Continued collab with HBO, the limited-edition whisky blends are influenced by the fictional houses of Westeros — House Stark and House Targaryen and are heirs to the White Walker by Johnnie Walker limited-edition blend.

From House Stark – A Song of Ice and the House Targaryen – A Song of Fire. The two whiskies celebrate the powerful relationship between the homes, represented by their home sigils — the Direwolf and the Dragon — which embellish every bottle, according to the company. As one other nod to the intricate interactions between the two houses within the present’s storyline, Johnnie Walker’s Striding Man uncharacteristically faces backward on the A Song of Fire bottle, exposing a face-off with the Striding Man on the A Song of Ice bottle when matched side-by-side, it adds.

Johnnie Walker A Song of Ice highlights single malts from Clynelish, indeed one of Scotland’s most northern distilleries, and secretes a crisp, clear style, the company says. The new blend includes a 40.2 % alcohol-by-quantity content material and the bottle design invokes an icy setting with frosted blue and gray colors spurred by the North, distinguished for its cold winters and frozen landscapes.

Johnnie Walker A Song of Fire is rich and spicy, blowing flavors of refined smoke from the peated malts of the Caol Ila distillery and contains a 40.8 % alcohol-by-volume content, in response to the company. Spurred by the dragons of House Targaryen, dreaded for their fire breathing, the bottle design evokes a fiery setting with deep-red colors.

Johnnie Walker A Song of Ice and Johnnie Walker A Song of Fire will likely be available in the beginning this month for a proposed retail price of $36 for a 750-ml bottle.
