Michael Kors has shot up American supermodel Gigi Hadid as the brand new face of its – “Wonderlust fragrance.”
The 24-year-old daughter of TV personality Yolanda Hadid rose to fame in 2014 after securing a spot on the Top 50 Models leaderboard.
She was additionally named International Model of the Year by the British Fashion Council in 2016 and has made greater than 30 appearances on the cover of various worldwide Vogue magazines.
The brand new perfume, set to launch this summer season, is claimed to be “a vacation in a bottle,” in line with Hadid, with every ingredient designed to ‘transport’ the wearer to a ‘far-off destination.’
Hadid mentioned, the fragrance is an escape – a little luxury that takes you away – I love the floral notes and versatility; it carries me from a day on the beach to a night out with friends.
The scent is mixed with top notes of almond milk accord, Italian bergamot, Sicilian mandarin, and pink pepper; with heart notes of jasmine grandiflorum absolute, dianthus, jasmine sambac absolute and heliotrope; and base tones of sandalwood, cashmeran, and benzoin siam.
Commenting on the advertising and marketing campaign, shot by Inez & Vinoodh, Kors stated Hadid is “the perfect face for this fragrance.”
He added: “Gigi fully embodies the Michael Kors Wonderlust spirit.
“She’s curious, spontaneous, lighthearted … every part you need in a travel partner.”
Hadid has previously worked with beauty brands Maybelline New York and Tommy Hilfiger.
